Aetna paid higher prices on ACA plans

Aetna, the health insurance subsidiary of CVS Health,

stopped selling Affordable Care Act plans

this year. The company said its ACA members had too many medical claims, with CEO David Joyner noting last year, “There is not a near- or long-term pathway for Aetna to materially improve its position in this product.”
