Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Butt, an eminent Pakistani academician, visionary educationist and former Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab passed away on 7th Muharram 1448 AH (23rd June 2026).
Prof. Dr. M. Arif Butt devoted his life to the advancement of higher education, academic excellence and research. Throughout his distinguished career, he inspired generations of students, scholars, and educators through his wisdom, integrity, and unwavering commitment to knowledge.
